This privacy policy describes how we collect website visitor’s information on yarnballin.com and how it is used.
Visitor information and cookies
When a user visits this website the browser type, IP, time, and page visited is logged. When a user registers and logs into this website, several cookies are saved for their login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for a year. If the “Remember Me” option is selected, the user’s login will persist for two weeks. If the user logs out of their account and clears their browser’s cache, the login cookies will be removed.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information except the username at any time. Website administrators can also see, edit, and delete user information.
When a purchase is made, customer information is stored to complete the order. This information includes what products a customer orders, their name, e-mail address, phone number, billing, and shipping address. Comments
When a comment is left on this website we collect the user’s name, email address, website url if provided, and the comment left. In addition to this information, the browser IP address and timestamp will be stored indefinitely or until the comment is deleted.
An anonymized string created from the email address used (also called a hash) is provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using their service. Newsletter
When a user signs up for our newsletter their name, email address, IP, country, and time of sign up are stored with our newsletter provider. In addition to this information, we track emails sent and open rate per user. If a user unsubscribes from our newsletter, this information is deleted.
